Jacques Brel was a Belgian singer, songwriter, and actor. He is considered one of the most important French-language chansonniers of the 20th century and has inspired many artists. His most famous songs include »Ne me quitte pas«, »Amsterdam«, and »La chanson des vieux amants«.
