Magro is a drummer and producer from Berlin. His unusual sound is a fusion of hip-hop and R’n’B with acoustically performed jazz, and his project brings together a number of his musical influences, among them Herbie Hancock, J Dilla, D’Angelo and Kendrick Lamar. »I want to build a bridge between catchy produced music and the deep elements of jazz.« Magro has worked as a drummer and producer with countless artists over the years. Tours and international festival performances (for example, at Tremplin Jazz Avignon, Jazz Al Popolo Rome, Women in Music Festival Zambia, among others) have already taken him around the world.
