Multimedia Lecture by Andreas Kieling
Seit nunmehr 25 Jahren wird Andreas Kieling vom Ruf der Wildnis magisch angezogen. In einer Multimedia-Show gibt der Dokumentarfilmer, Filmproduzent und Autor nun einen Einblick in seine letzten Reisen nach Alaska, Namibia und Australien.
Alaska: Wildnis – Abenteuer – Herausforderung – grenzenlose Freiheit. Hier spielt der Mensch nur eine Nebenrolle. Hier hat die Natur das Sagen. Bären, Wölfe, Elche, Adler – sie alle leben in diesem Land noch wie vor Urzeiten. Seit langem lebt Andreas Kieling hier mit wilden Grizzlys und Wölfen zusammen. Einige der braunen Riesen haben zu ihm sogar ein Vertrauensverhältnis aufgebaut: Fast surreal muten die Filmaufnahmen an, wenn sich Kieling zwischen den schwersten Beutegreifern der Erde hindurch bewegt.
Die langen, kalten und vor allem dunklen Winter in Alaska treiben Andreas Kieling dennoch immer wieder in andere Regionen der Erde. Afrika lässt den Tierfilmer stets neu ins Staunen geraten. Die Wüstenelefanten Namibias, Berggorillas in Ruanda, die Suche nach den letzten Wölfen Afrikas im Hochland von Äthiopien sind weitere Highlights seiner Multimedia-Show.
Australien bildet das letzte große Kapitel der neuen Show von Andreas Kieling. Im tropischen Norden des Kontinents leben die größten Panzerechsen der Erde – Salzwasserkrokodile. Viel Zeit hat er mit den urtümlichen Reptilien verbracht: Als erster Tierfilmer der Welt tauchte er mit einer der großen Panzerechsen und filmte sie unter Wasser.

Chamber music series, lieder recitals, children's concerts and jazz events seem to be made for the Recital Hall of the Laeiszhalle, which can accommodate up to 640 guests. (Please note: The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.)

Please note: There are several construction sites in the immediate vicinity of the Laeiszhalle which may make it difficult to get to the concert. Please therefore plan enough time for your journey to the concert.
The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.
We suggest visitors arrive at the Laeiszhalle main entrance not later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert or event. Late seating is not guaranteed and latecomers may not be admitted to the concert hall.
The entrance of the Recital Hall is located on Gorch-Fock-Wall.
