Description

The program of the »Hamburger Kammermusikfest International« focuses on works ranging from the late Romantic period to the present day. At the same time, compositions from other eras frame the individual concert performances. Works by well-known and lesser-known composers, as well as crossovers into other musical genres, promise a comprehensive view of the current world of chamber music. In the concerts, the musicians are brought together in unique ensembles. The lineups are deliberately cosmopolitan in order to bring the resulting artistic and cultural influences to life. This creates unique concerts that turn every evening into a very special musical and cultural experience. As part of the »classicYoungstRs« platform, young, award-winning emerging talents will rehearse selected works for their performances at the Hamburg Chamber Music Festival. In several concerts, these young talents will demonstrate their extraordinary skills.

A gala evening in a class of its own: Three young opera stars and eight top musicians, conducted by Elisaveta Blumina, present arias and duets by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Giacomo Puccini, Charles Gounod, Giuseppe Verdi, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, and other master composers. Splendor, virtuosity, and drama: An evening full of splendor, intensity, and musical highlights! Opera in its most immediate, captivating form. This concert is a unique experience that is rarely available in this form.
