Description

The concerts and events that make up the Érard Festival are centred around the grand pianos of the French instrument maker Sébastien Érard, which were primarily built in the nineteenth century and helped shape the age of romanticism. Through the festival, the Hamburg-based Érard Society seeks also to offer young, up-and-coming musicians a stage. While the festival’s home is in the Spiegelsaal of the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, two concerts are also held in the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall.
