Dustin O’Halloran

Dustin O’Halloran is an American pianist and composer with five acclaimed solo albums under his own name and a member of the band A Winged Victory for the Sullen, which has released five albums, some of which are based on film scores and soundtracks. His latest album, »Silfur«, is his first full-length work in a decade and was released by Deutsche Grammophon. It contains reinterpreted versions of selected songs from his catalogue and deals with time and place. Like his works before it, it is characterised by the special interplay in his music, which is brought to life by the minimal and the pursuit of emotional clarity in its melodies.
