Description

This unusual ensemble consisting of mandolins, mandolas, guitars and double basses has been delighting audiences for nearly 60 years now. The Norddeutsche Zupforchester was founded in 1959, and specialises mainly in 20th-century compositions that were originally written for an orchestra of plucked instruments. In this concert, the association presents the greatest successes of its internal youth development programme with a performance by the youth ensemble featuring children and teenagers from 10 to 16 years of age.
