The Tel Aviv-born musician is just as confident in the Brazilian choro as in jazz – the former a polyphonic improvised forerunner of samba. Grammy-nominated music that is full of enthusiasm.
Omer Klein’s music grooves: after many years spent in the USA, the motherland of jazz, the Israeli pianist now lives in Germany and has become a celebrated star here. Together with the NDR Bigband and the conductor and saxophonist Niels Klein, Klein has rearranged his compositions for big band.
