Music and stories of contemplation belong to Advent like a decorated Christmas tree belongs to Christmas. »Ein Wintermärchen« (A Winter Fairy-Tale) combines popular German Christmas carols and narrative texts to produce a very special programme full of variety. The musical sections are interspersed with texts that cast a humorous and critical glance at our Christmas traditions.
