Description
In the new 2022/23 season, the NDR Jazz Concerts once again feature top-class musicians from more than ten countries. Six double concerts promise varied listening enjoyment in the Rolf Liebermann Studio, ranging from a flamenco project with the NDR Bigband, starring Spanish bass player Pablo Martín Caminero, to intimate duos.
The latter format plays a special role this season: Vincent Peirani & Yamandú Costa, Lionel Loueke & Ziv Ravitz, Tamara Lukasheva & Matthias Schriefl – they all embark on musical adventures without cultural or stylistic boundaries. And four talented young female percussionists make their first appearance: Anne Paceo, Eva Klesse, Mareike Wiening and Sun-Mi Hong.
