The NDR Chor is one of the internationally leading professional chamber choirs. It is a permanent partner of the NDR orchestras and concert series, such as the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, the NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover and NDR das neue werk. Dutchman Klaas Stok has been the choirmaster since the 2018/19 season. The repertoire of the choir, which was founded in 1946, covers all periods from Early Music to first performances, and this diversity and stylistic flexibility is also reflected in the subscription series established in 2009.
