Wie ein Fisch im Wasser / Like a Fish in Water

»In a sparkling brooklet,« sings the violin, and goes on to provide an onomatopoeic depiction of the babbling stream. Welcome to the light-hearted sounds of Schubert’s »Trout« Quintet! This concert forms part of the project »Sea of Music – An Environmental Initiative in Music«, for which seven orchestras from seven countries around the Baltic have joined forces. The initiative invites children and young people to feel as comfortable with music »as a fish in water«. And at the same time it asks what we can do to make sure that trout, cod and pike continue to feel at home in the Baltic – »like a fish in water«.
