The American singer and accordion player »Weird Al« Yankovic gained global fame with his Michael Jackson parodies, first in »Eat It« in 1984 and then in the brilliant music clip »Fat« four years later. Since then, Weird Al has also poked fun at Coolio (»Amish Paradise«), Madonna (»Like a Surgeon«), Nirvana (»Smells Like Nirvana«), Lady Gaga (»Perform This Way«) and Miley Cyrus (»Party in the CIA«). In addition to his world-famous parodies, Yankovic has also released 14 studio albums. They include his own compositions as well as »style parodies«, complete with witty lyrics, which are loved by fans and critics alike. Those are now the focus of the programme for his European tour.
