Vortrag: »Grönland – meine Reisen ans Ende der Welt«
Horizonta-Festival Hamburg
Fascinating Greenland
He is used to interviewing people with interesting stories to tell. But for almost 15 years now, Markus Lanz has regularly been swapping the TV studio for one of the most fascinating regions on earth: Greenland. He released a book from his collection of some 20,000 photos, for »The National Geographic«, which went on to become a bestseller. The German ZDF documentary »Sehnsucht Grönland« (»Longing for Greenland«) was seen by almost four million television viewers. In a beautifully produced multivision show, he now presents his photographs and film footage on stage for the first time, letting the audience share in his experiences and adventures.
All proceeds from the event go to the forestry and climate protection projects of the organiser AMAP e. V. (Almada Mata Atlântica Project) – dedicated to the safeguarding of the »Mata Atlântica«, the so-called Atlantic Forest, on Brazil’s Cocoa Coast.
