Never quite belonging to any one genre of music, the songs of VNV Nation (aka Ronan Harris) blend poetic and contemplative lyrics with a sound that ranges from melodic dance beats and indie-electronic anthems to haunting ballads and post-classical soundtrack pieces. The shows are legendary for their energy and positive emotion, attracting a loyal fan base to concerts and festivals across Europe and North America.
For this concert, Ronan Harris is accompanied by the Philharmonie Leipzig, known for its film music concerts and interpretations of highlights that range from the classical to the Romantic eras. The programme includes some of VNV Nation’s most popular orchestral pieces as well as works from the upcoming album »Music for Orchestra Vol. 2«, which will be released with the tour.
Special guest band Diary of Dreams also takes the stage, perfectly complementing the programme with atmospheric dark wave combined with elements of electro and future pop.
