Before Theo Croker presents his latest album »Love Quantum« in the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall, he takes a good hour out of his schedule for a vinyl session and on-stage talk. In the Kaistudio, he plays records that have had a decisive influence on his own style and career, often representing central milestones of the Afrofuturism movement too. And he shares his thoughts, experiences and knowledge in a dialogue with the rapper, producer and professor Sammus, who performs on stage herself a few days earlier. A unique opportunity to take an acoustic peek inside the record collection of one of the top newcomers in the jazz world and delve deeper into Afrofuturism at the same time.
