The Sweetheart & The Daredevil

On the second evening of the »Elbphilharmonie Summer« festival the audience can look forward to an excellent jazz ensemble and two classic silent movies. Founded in 1993 and now internationally acclaimed, the Brussels Jazz Orchestra has gathered some experience with music to accompany silent films: the 17-member big band led by founder and sax player Frank Vaganée, with Bo Van Der Werf (also on sax), Serge Plume (trumpet) and Marc Godfroid (trombone), already played in the Oscar-winning soundtrack to »The Artist«.
