»The Ox on the Roof«

This NDR Family Concert featuring the clarinet, violin and piano takes the young audience (aged 3 and upwards) and its families on a lively journey to America, Brazil and France: an ox on the roof, the comedian Scaramouche who messes everyone around, a dose of Brazilian folk music, a little American jazz, a dash of French flavouring. Composer Darius Milhaud throws all these ingredients together to produce effervescent and rhythmic music full of humour and joie de vivre.
