In its first concert of the 2021/22 season, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen juxtapose works by Richard Strauss with Piotr I. Tchaikovsky’s Third Symphony. Besides Strauss’s late »Metamorphosen« for 23 solo strings, the programme also features selected songs for soprano and orchestra, performed by the celebrated coloratura soprano Diana Damrau. The Frenchman Jérémie Rhorer conducts.
