The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen / Alondra de la Parra
Bartók / Stravinsky
»They are all fantastic – terrific musicians!« Thus the Mexican conductor Alondra de la Parra after her first rehearsals with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen in 2016. This was her debut with the world-class orchestra from northern Germany. In the meantime, top orchestras from New York to Tokyo are scrambling to work with this charismatic musician, who has been principal conductor of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra since 2017. Now Alondra de la Parra returns to the rostrum of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen with Stravinsky’s »Firebird« Suite and the Bartók Viola Concerto, where the solo part is played with immense verve by the French star viola player Antoine Tamestit.
