Symphoniker Hamburg / Sylvain Cambreling
Festive Concert »Jeffrey Tate Prize«
From 2020, the Symphoniker Hamburg’s Sir Jeffrey Tate Advancement Award, which was founded and endowed by Annegret and Claus-G. Budelmann, will – on the recommendation of a jury of experts – be awarded every second year to exceptionally talented young musicians. The award ceremony is held as part of a festive matinee concert. Sir Jeffrey Tate was the chief conductor of the Symphoniker Hamburg from 2009 until his unexpected death during a concert tour of Italy in 2017.
