Between Modernism and Late Romanticism

Sergei Rachmaninoff’s almost unplayable Piano Concerto No. 2 is a perfect challenge for the young South Korean pianist Dong Hyek Lim. And with the Fifth Symphony of the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, this concert ends on a clear, Nordic and indulgently Late Romantic note.
