Symphoniker Hamburg / Alessio Allegrini
»Jesting Seriousness and Serious Jest«
Under the motto »Jesting Seriousness and Serious Jest«, the Symphoniker Hamburg has chosen three works for its third »VielHarmonie« concert that make special use of musical jokes. The horn player Alessio Allegrini will conduct the orchestra this evening. Allegrini takes the rostrum in place of Sir Jeffrey Tate, who died in June 2017; he played under Tate for many years.
Please note: Since the death of its principal conductor Sir Jeffrey Tate in June 2017, the Symphoniker Hamburg has reorganised its 2017/18 season. The concert programmes and the performers may be different from those originally published.
