Sukyeon Kim / Norddeutsche Sinfonietta
Mozart / Bartók / Ünlü
The Norddeutsche Sinfonietta, a young chamber orchestra from Schleswig-Holstein, presents a programme with a wealth of interconnections this evening. Together with pianist Sukyeon Kim, the orchestra performs a piano concerto by Hamburg-based composer Altuğ Ünlü. A technically demanding work that constitutes a homage to Béla Bartók, whose music also features. As a contrast, the programme is framed by two pieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – the famous overture to »Don Giovanni« and his Piano Concerto in D minor.
