Georges Lentz is not such a productive composer, but what he does write is highly individual and always gives expression to his intellectual and religious convictions. This applies to his work »String Quartet(s)«, originally conceived for a single soundtrack, whose plural »s« allows for »a whole range of different interpretations«.
The musicians of Ensemble Resonanz take these different possibilities for interpretation literally, splitting up into three separate string quartet formations in addition to the electronic component. The audience can look forward to a rather different approach to the string quartet genre – and to a completely new listening experience!
