Sivan Silver and her partner Gil Garburg are setting new standards in the fine art of playing as a duo on one or two pianos. In Hamburg, the piano duo now present the programme of their new album »Illumination«, which features brilliant arrangements of works composed by Liszt, Schumann and Saint-Säens.
Saint-Säens arranged some of his own compositions for new orchestrations and Debussy enjoyed taking on the works by his contemporaries.
Through their interpretations of these arrangements, Silver and Garburg make it possible to experience new facets in the original works that previously went unnoticed.
