Salaputia Brass

The history of Salaputia Brass began in 2007 with five musicians from the Bundesjugendorchester. In 2011 more colleagues from the same orchestra joined the brass ensemble, and shortly afterwards they released their debut album »Sinfonietta«. This was followed later by »Sounds of Evolution« and »Signals from Heaven« featuring the internationally renowned trumpeter and jazz singer Jeroen Berwaerts. In the meantime, individual members of the ensemble also play in orchestras such as the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra, the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln and the Konzerthausorchester Berlin. Salaputia Brass now makes its debut in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall.
