Great melodies, great feelings
The clarinet, with its special timbre, is often compared with the human singing voice. In the concert »Bella Italia«, the instrument really comes into its own when clarinettist Sabine Grofmeier and the German-Italian tenor Ricardo Marinello present Italian highlights from opera, film and musicals. Together with the Moldavian-born pianist Marina Kommissartchik, they perform great melodies beautifully arranged for a chamber-music instrumentation, bringing the Italian attitude to life to the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall.
