A fabulous family concert featuring one of the most popular Grimms’ fairy tales and wonderful melodies from the world-famous opera by Engelbert Humperdinck. Accompanied by children’s TV presenter Juri Tetzlaff, the Symphoniker Hamburg venture into the forest where the wicked witch lives in a house made of sweets and gingerbread. Hansel and Gretel’s mother send them into the forest to pick berries; the children lose their way, and an exciting adventure begins. This is a join-in concert where the audience is invited to sing and dance along. A musical adventure with classical hits, wit and suspense for lovers of fairy tales young and old.
