POSTPONED: Emil Brandqvist Trio

»The most beautiful flower in the piano trio genre« (ZDF »aspekte«). This trio’s secret lies in the rare gift of having developed their own unique sound, one that is characterised by the delicate tone paintings of Emil Brandqvist on the drums, and the sometimes sensitively dabbed, sometimes rapidly rolling neo-classicisms of the Finnish pianist Tuomas A. Turunen. The stoically driving power in Max Thornberg’s double bass playing gives the trio an unmistakable body. As usual, Emil Brandqvist is responsible for most of the compositions on the new album.
