Under the direction of the Symphoniker’s concertmaster Adrian Iliescu, two Late Romantic works are on the programme for the first chamber concert of the season. Two pieces by the French composers César Franck and Ernest Chausson that reflect and yet depart to a very unique – French – expression of modernism.
