Philipp Oehmke & Campino: »Schönwald«
Harbour Front Literaturfestival
A gripping family story
Philipp Oehmke is an editor. He was at the magazine of the Süddeutsche Zeitung, where he also edited the 50-volume book series »SZ-Diskothek«. In 2006, he moved to the cultural department of Der Spiegel as an editor. And he is the author of the biography »Am Anfang war der Lärm« about the rock band Die Toten Hosen. Oehmke is closely associated with the band’s singer, Campino. Campino himself, however, is not only a singer, but also an author. In 2020, Campino presented his autobiographical novel »Hope Street« at Harbour Front. Now the two are coming to the festival in their role as writers to talk about Philipp Oehmke’s first novel »Schönwald«. Philipp Oehmke will read from his book and Campino will interview him about it.
