Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg / »Musik und Wissenschaft« / »Music & Science«
Haydn / Schubert
In 2016 the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra launched an interdisciplinary series of events in cooperation with the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft, combining classical music with scientific topics. In the different theme concerts, full-length concert programmes are coupled with 30-minute talks from various disciplines. In 2018 »Water« will be the focus of the series: the subject will be looked at from the viewpoint of various branches of science such as meteorology, maritime microbiology and ethnology.
Please note: The talk takes place in German.
