Norddeutsche Orchesterakademie
Korngold / Strauss
The Norddeutsche Orchesterakademie was only recently founded, but it has already planned a mammoth project for its inaugural concert: a concert in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall. Under its conductor Kiril Stankow, the project orchestra will be performing Richard Strauss’s »Alpensinfonie« with a cast of 120 musicians.
The Norddeutsche Orchesterakademie (North German Orchestra Academy) is a project ensemble covering the entirety of northern Germany. Membership is open to music lovers of all age groups and from all professions, and the musical focus is on the major symphonies of the 19th and 20th centuries in particular.
