Niklas Paschburg / Luca D'Alberto

»Neoclassical« – a genre whose protagonists prefer not to be pigeonholed. And yet there are parallels to be found between musicians like Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds and Hauschka: they compose and improvise music that sometimes ties in with Romantic tradition, at other points with minimal music, but also has a foot in electronic territory. Niklas Paschburg und Luca D’Alberto are part of this scene. Paschburg presents his third album, »Oceanic«, which was released in February 2018, at this concert. After the interval, D’Alberto takes the stage, combining his acclaimed album »Endless« with a selection of new works.
