NDR Jugendsinfonieorchester

By now the NDR Jugendsinfonieorchester (youth symphony orchestra) must feel right at home in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall. Aged between 15 and 25, the musicians hail from the whole NDR broadcasting region and gather for rehearsals twice a year. This time the focus is on the wind section, which will be performing Mozart’s Serenade in B flat major for two oboes, two clarinets, two basset horns, four French horns, two bassoons and a double bass.
