The Chinese conductor Long Yu is already well known in Hamburg from previous guest performances with the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra. He is also a leading protagonist in the orchestra’s five-year collaboration with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, and he now brings another slice of Chinese culture to the Hanseatic city.
