NDR Chamber Music Recital
Moulijn / Mahler / Brahms
Dutch composer Jeppe Moulijn called his work for solo horn, in whose second movement he pays his respects to Gustav Mahler, »Horn of Plenty«. That title would be just as suitable as a motto for this chamber music recital, in which members of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra draw from the extensive chamber music repertoire for various instrumentations. Not often do you get the chance to hear a piano quartet, piano quintet and horn trio on the same evening!
