The fabergé-quintett loves digging up unknown gems and has chosen to focus this time on the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, with works ranging from Edgar Meyer’s String Quintet – complete with echoes of Dvořák, minimal music and jazz – to excerpts from Frank Zappa’s last album.
