The holy beggar
A beggar living unrecognised in the rich parental home? The incredible story of Saint Alessio is told in this matinée concert. The rich cast promises a very special experience: three countertenors, two tenors, a bass and two boy soloists illuminate the life of the Roman saint with enchanting melodies, accompanied by an orchestra of 20 musicians on extraordinary instruments of the time.
