Behind the name »Midnight Sun« you will find a Persian quartet made up of Mahdieh Mohammadkhani, Hossein Behroozinia, Saeed Farajpouri and Behnam Samani. In this programme, the quartet presents a mixture of joyous and melancholic works of classical Persian music that feature lyrics taken from Persian poems. Even listeners who are not familiar with Persian music will be moved by the inescapable nostalgia of these beautiful works.
