The brass ensemble 10forBrass is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2020. Originally formed by music students, the ensemble’s musicians now play in renowned German orchestras such as the Bamberger Symphoniker, the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie, the WDR Rundfunkorchester and the Berlin Philharmonic. Together with actor Michael Mendl, 10forBrass now perform Engelbert Humperdinck’s fairy-tale opera »Hansel and Gretel« in a version for brass band and narrator at the Elbphilharmonie.
