Matthias Höfs / Trumpet

In that place where sounds are the material, where artists turn delicate melodic ornaments into virtuosic pieces of jewellery – that is where the precision work of the artist becomes audible. That was the aspiration for Matthias Höfs and his chamber music partners as they selected the works for »Mozart con Tromba«. They were drawn by the allure of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s music and were guided by the joy of uncovering its virtuosic and famously playful core.
