A journey through the centuries
Marianna Julia Żołnacz was born in Warsaw in 1999, studied in her home city and at the Salzburg Mozarteum, and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Salzburg and Warsaw. The 22-year-old flautist has won numerous national and international awards, and also held a scholarship from the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein. Żołnacz is accompanied by the young British pianist Callum McLachlan, who has been praised for his richly coloured playing and outstanding technical ability. He has been studying at the Mozarteum in Salzburg since 2018. In 2019 he performed in the Young Artist Series at the RBC Birmingham Piano Festival.
