London Philharmonic Orchestra / Christoph Eschenbach
Please note the change of artist!
Superstar, ladies’ heart-throb, hot-shot violinist: these three attributes probably haven’t been applied to one man since Paganini. But then David Garrett came on the scene, and the laws of the concert market seemed to have been suspended.
Please note: David Garrett has regrettably been forced to cancel his appearance with the London Philharmonic Orchestra due to an acute slipped disc. The concert led by conductor Christoph Eschenbach still takes place with an unchanged programme. Tickets retain their validity.
A worthy replacement for Tchaikovsky’s romantic violin concerto has been found in the form of internationally acclaimed virtuoso violinist Ray Chen, who has maintained a close working relationship with Christoph Eschenbach for many years now.
