Lilya Zilberstein
Piano Recital
Lilya Zilberstein had her international breakthrough in 1987 when she won the prestigious Busoni Competition in Bolzano. A year later, the Moscow-born pianist was allowed to tour extensively outside the Soviet Union – a special privilege. She went on to play all over the world as duo partner to Martha Argerich and together with major orchestras like the Berlin Philharmonic and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Zilberstein now makes her debut at the Elbphilharmonie with a piano recital.
