The accordion is a sound you rarely hear in classical concert halls. That, thankfully, is now changing – because Ksenija Sidorova is a young musician determined to raise her instrument’s profile in the (classical) music world. In 2017, she visited the Elbphilharmonie to accept her Echo Klassik Award as Best Instrumentalist. She now returns with the Russian Chamber Philharmonic to perform works by Astor Piazzolla.
