Kristina Miller / Piano Recital
Chopin / Liszt
The Moscow-born pianist Kristina Miller particularly enjoys exhibiting her extraordinary technical abilities through virtuosic works. This passion is evident in her piano recital proramme in the Laeiszhalle Grand Hall. She starts the concert with Frédéric Chopin’s Four Scherzi, each of which individually represents a significant pianistic challenge – the four works are therefore only rarely performed together. After that, there is no rest for the pianist as she tackles Franz Liszt’s famous (and notorious) Sonata in B minor, which also has a reputation as being one of the most difficult pieces of the Romantic piano repertoire.
