Klassische Philharmonie Bonn / Eloi Huscenot / Ervis Gega
»Weihnachtszauber« / Works by Francesco Manfredini, Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Alessandro Marcello, George Frideric Handel and others
Festive music for the Christmas season
The Klassische Philharmonie Bonn’s Christmas concert features music from the Baroque and Romantic periods. It has become a tradition with the orchestra that Ervis Gega, Artistic Director of the Klassische Philharmonie Bonn, leads this project and performs as soloist at the same time. She invites the audience to celebrate Christmas musically with her and the Klassische Philharmonie Bonn.
The Klassische Philharmonie Bonn was founded in 1986, has around 60 members and performs its own regular concert series in concert halls throughout Germany. The orchestra’s repertoire ranges from music of the baroque to modern periods, with a particular focus on works from the First Viennese School, although contemporary works and compositions by school pupils are regularly found alongside Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven.
