Kat Frankie

On stage with seven brilliant singers and no musical instruments whatsoever, Kat Frankie presents an a cappella show that thematises the significance of physicality. This dynamic, genre-transcending concert includes new arrangements of older songs as well as material composed specially for this occasion. Elements of gospel, R&B, medieval ballads and modern pop result in a dramatic and joyous performance. She explores independence in the physical sense as well as space, in which the heavenly bodies are autonomous in a way, while still following certain orbits that were created by the same forces. In 2018, Kat Frankie won »Best Act« at the VUT Awards and the Preis für Popkultur’s »Best Female Artist« award.
